Chickenfeed Bargain Stores is proud to be a very active corporate citizen in Tasmania. As a company, Chickenfeed holds a strong sense of community, and so we're keen to put as much as we can back into the wider community as possible.

Chickenfeed are proud to be a major supporter of Camp Quality. We have a staff contribution scheme, where nearly all our staff freely give a small amount of their pay to Camp Quality each week.

Our customers would know that on the last Thursday of each month we have a Camp Quality day in stores. Our checkout staff kindly asks for donations from our wonderful customers!

Each year we raise over $60,000 for Camp Quality! We’re very proud of that figure. We are also lucky enough to meet these courageous and fun loving children each year at their summer camp! To find out more about what Camp Quality does for young people with cancer, click on the logo below!

The Burnie, Launceston and Hobart Shows have been friends of ours for many years, and we get a lot of pleasure being involved in their annual events.

And we can’t forget the Latrobe Speedway! Chickenfeed is the major sponsor of the World Series Sprint cars. An annual event that brings the cream of Australia’s speedway drivers to Tasmania. We love catching up with our customers at the track on the race days! Cheepa the Chicken is a hit with the kids too!

Then there’s the Ronald McDonald Ball, The Music For the Masses Quiz for the Hobart City Mission, The Tasmanian Special Children’s Christmas Party, Bandanna Day, Red Nose Day and the countless charities, schools and community groups we lend a hand to throughout the year! The Tasmanian community has helped Chickenfeed become a success, and we will help whenever we can!
